dave: “the triceratops, he’s from the cretaceous, this is the jurassic”

oscar: “oh, he used the time tunnel”

dave: “listen, i want to ask you about time travel, imagine you went back in time one day”

oscar: “ok”

dave: “then you wait one day… what happens”

oscar: “i guess i’d go back in time again”

dave: “and then the next day, and the next day?”

oscar: “back in time, wait one day, back in time, wait one day”

dave: …pause “right. so… how would you stop going round and round?”

oscar: … no pause “dad. time travel goes both ways, I’d just have to use the time machine to go forward”

dave: …long pause “uh. i guess that would work. that’s uh… a pretty uh… yeah. that would work”

Is where you see arrows, they point which way to go, they’re very helpful to show your way home and the last thing about arrow land is that it’s unusual.

There’s bits because there’s a house because there’s a desert nearby and here’s the last, because there’s a puppy in the house. with spots.

Animals hide in the ground, Oscar says, so meat-eaters don’t get them. And doggies dig underground for bones. Sometimes in the grasslands.
